Scary movies at school? what?

So break is over, I'm back at school.. which is.. interesting.. Well this week I have had a great break (could've been longer, as always) it was my birthday Sunday and Easter so that's something to talk about haha! Well lets get on with the week-review:

Friday April 18th: So I had a brief 'meeting' for a talkshow I'm doing, but it was a short one. After that I went home and Nanna came over to watch 'Voice-Kids' Karina had a thing so she wasnt coming, but we had fun anyways. When you hang with Nanna this is what you end up with: unfortunately the pictures of my cat [very sad I know] are all pictures I took.. so there's that.

Saturday April 19th: At about 11.30ish, Karina came over and around 12.15 we went to a place where we had to like clean, do dishes and warm up food etc. for something we call a 'Nonfirmation' which is basically instead of a 'Confirmation' you just celebrate or like have a party and a girl named Kathrine I've known, basically ever since she was born is apparently already 14 years old and asked if we wanted to come work at her party that day. It was really nice and I know Kath and her mom really well and her grandparents so it all went well and cleaning with your best friend is not bad, at the end of the day I was exhausted and my feet hurt so bad, but I had a good day. 

Sunday April 20th: IT'S MY BIRTHDAAAAAY! So at first I woke up at 6.55am (on a SUNDAY) I dont even know? But then I fell asleep again and then woke up at 7.30am and the on/off sleep went on for about 2 hours until I woke up at 8.50 and couldnt sleep and then I just waited 'til I heard steps on the stairs and people walking around outside my door and I tried 'pretending' to be asleep, which was hard cause I couldnt stop smiling when I heard the door opening. Then my whole family came in with flags and started singing :D then I came downstairs and saw this: 

I got a new ukulele since the old one broke pretty bad [picture of the old one is at the bottom] and then a trip to Hamburg to go see Carly, which I am SO FREAKING excited about!!!! Then I got a tuner for the Ukulele and the John Green box set of books if anyone shouldnt happen to know who he is. Right now I'm reading To kill a mockingbird as fast as a can, but not too fast though because I wanna read the fault in our stars and of course the other three as well by John Green (Looking for Alaska, Paper towns, and an abundance of Katherines) I almost forgot to eat breakfast cause I wanted to start playing my ukulele. 

there's just something with cats and boxes. 

 I didnt have that much time to play it though, cause I had to be at 'Late night studios' to help film the first episode. I think I talked about this last week, but 'Late night studios' is a talkshow. Josef is the host, we have 'the three Amigos' as a talkshow band, the rest of the crew is Mark, Oliver, Søren, and I. Before I jumped on the subway I had to have something to drink cause apparently I have been good this year, cause the weather was amazing, it so good I was like sweating and it was only 11.30am. Well I went to 7-eleven and got 2 dr. Peppers cause I have not had that for years! Then I got there at around 12pm and we set up some things and then went to the grocery store cause the guys wanted something to eat. 

We set up everything and I tried sitting in Josefs chair with all the lights and thank god I am behind the camera haha. We started the show around 4pm and Josef had two guests a director and an actor who talked about how they got into the business and it was actually quite interesting, then at the end Josef looked over at the band who counted and I just in the corner with a camera doing my thing, then they started signing happy birthday (in danish of course) and at first I started wondering who's birthday it was and they sang my name and I just planted my head in my hands and my face turned bright red. Then when the song was almost over they kept singing the last part of the song which is something with cake and the bartender followed by Mark came in with cake and it had candles on it and I have literally never been so surprised in my whole life, I blew out the candles and hurried back to my spot behind the camera and when the show ended we all almost ran outside cause it so freaking hot. I cut the cake and offered everyone a piece of course. It was SO good, I cant even.

then we cleaned everything up and this is basically what it looked  like, just without the talkshow set up. 

next month we're shooting somewhere else, I think it's in like inner Copenhagen this was a little outside. 

Well I went home and had a lovely dinner with my family and that was my birthday. It was really good and almost 70 degrees fahrenheit and let me just say it does NOT get this hot usually in spring here, if we're lucky we'll get around 70 degrees in the summer, so must've done something right even though it wasnt only my birthday [: 

Monday April 21st: it was still easter (in a way) well we were off school anyways and after I got out of bed and went downstairs and my neighbors came in  and asked if I wanted to play. (they're 9 and 7) So we played.. or no they playes games on my phone and on the iPad and I watched until they got bored and wanted to play hide and seek. When that got boring we started watching Frozen in danish which for me was weird since I only know the songs and movie in english, but half way through Nikolai got bored and asked if we wanted to do something and we played hide and seek again. I ended up on the balcony and under the table [not that comfortable to be honest] 

then I think we went outside for like 5 minutes, but ended up inside again watching the rest of Frozen and then we started playing Cranium if anyone should know that boardgame and we played 'til they had to have dinner. 

I had a great day though. 

Tuesday April 22nd: rough day! Back to school [woo... or something like that] Well started out with 3 periods of technology where we were 'verbally killed' by our teacher because the papers for the oil project thing I talked about a few weeks back, were terrible.. just horrible all of them not one group apparently did a good job. So she showed us some of the things people wrote that did make sense and at first yeah it was funny, but then it was like... this is not funny at all. Okay well moving on to danish class, right now we have about like scary stories and stuff so our danish teacher made us watch a scary short film.(it was 2 minutes and 41 seconds long.. cant be that scary... well thats what I thought) So in the beginning of this short film a woman walks down the hall and turns the light off and there is like a weird silhouette monster looking thing, then she turns on the light and its gone, she turns it of and its there and that goes on for a few seconds 'til she turns it off and its not there. She duct tapes the switch so the light cant turn off and go to bed and she hears sounds and you know, all that scary thoughts and I know its almost over so I thought oh okay it's save to look.. nope cause the second I decide to look with nothing covering my eyes or anything the woman lifts up her blanket and looks down at the end of her bed side table and there is this huge monster looking disgusting.. I dont even know what it is, but I dont think I have ever screamed that loud in my loud and the whole class just turns around and looks down in the corner and starts burst out laughing. Yes okay in the beginning it was funny, but I have not slept well at all the past two nights. I usually go to bed at like 9-10ish 10.20 at the latest, I have been too scared to go to bed (I know it sound silly) I havent been in bed 'til like 12 these past two days which literally ruins my sleep cycle, but whatever! I am still like so scared! :O but its okay I always need at least 3 days to get over it. I have only watched a few scary movies in my life, but eveyr time I just needed 3 days to recover. 

Well the rest of the day was actually kind of fun at practice I was on fire, but I dont know why every time I have a good practice I always end up falling over my own feet and I did. Twice. Well we laughed our butts of for various reasons that tuesday night. It was hilarious. 

Wednesday April 23rd: 

didnt have any classes 'til 10am, still couldnt sleep because of the scary movie. When i got home I immediately started finishing my danish paper, with great company of course.. Lemonade;

After dinner, my parents apperently decided to make coffee, cause we havent had coffee that day, so my dad went to get milk. My mom and I stayed to clean the kitchen and we listened to the Frozen soundtrack. Finally found a 'Frozen buddy'!! woop! Then we have cake and coffee for dessert on a Wednesday? 

Thursday April 24th: Not much happening today to be honest. As usual, came home had coffee, did homework, had dinner, and now I'm here. So yeah. 

I hope you all had a nice easter. I signed up for this thing on Tuesday, you've probably all heard of the song 'happy' by Pharell, it's good, but overplayed (in my opinion) I mean I can still listen to it. Anyways with that song there is this thing called #100happydays and for a 100 days you post a picture everyday of something that made you happy that day. You can post on instagram, twitter, tumblr, facebook.. you name it. I posted this the other day becuase I was happy I got a new ukulele and that I had time to play it. 

the only hard part is remembering to post a picture, well for me anyways, but its fun.
