I am on break this week, cause its easter and thats what we do here. Carly is coming tomorrow AND IM SO EXCITEDDDDD TO SEE MY BABY SIS, who is pretty tall for being half a year younger? Oh well, Friday I will be celebrating my birthday a couple weeks early, woo!
Okay so here to the little not as exciting or positive part, but our 26 year old cafeteria guy passed away and he made a really, like pretty big impression on everyone he met and every single person on the school so I wrote this long thought thing and you don't have to read it I just had something going on enjoy:
At my school, in the cafeteria we had this guy. He was 26 years old and he made awesome food and he was always smiley and happy and always trying to make us eat healthier, with a big smile on his face, his eyes were big, if you looked into them you saw pure blue kindness.
I did not know him personally, the only talks we ever had was “your total is__”, “you can go fill it back up”, “have a great day”, and “thank you”. My friends made small talk with him though and they had secret ninja tricks and a few inside jokes. That all happened a couple times a day, a lot of people liked this guy and everyone would always leave the cafeteria smiling, he was kind and fun.
Tuesday March 17th 2015, my teacher came into class and she looked out on all of us then looked down and her usual Good morning smiley face expression changed to a sad kind of shocked expression and she said good morning while everyone slowly started paying attention to her, followed by a “this weekend, uhm Carl from the cafeteria passed away..” the whole class sunk and sighed as everyone turned to each other with their hands over their mouths.
He was only 26, 26 years old. I don’t want to get all into how he died, but it was associated with drugs, in which his mother wrote a letter to the school telling us all to learn from his experience and not experiment with drugs.

The drugs thing is not my point, my point is that impressions are important and first impressions especially, but good impressions in general are important.
No matter how many people you see in a day, no matter how many people you meet for the first time or see on the street.
Impressions are important. I’m not saying that everyone will remember you and the fact that whole world knows who you are is what you should aim for because it’s not, all I’m saying is that it’s important to show kindness and smile at other people because that is what people will remember that is who people fill a whole blackboard for with goodbye messages, because that person who noticed that I dropped half my pasta salad on the floor and told me to go fill it back up, or the person who told my friend her Ninja trick was cool and she was going to go show him after the weekend what she had learned, that person made a huge impression on a lot of people just by being kind and friendly. It’s just a thing to remember, be kind towards other people and make a good impression.

RIP to a very good human and very kind person.
