2014 here I come.

So this break I've been doing nothing and everything. wow. So the 24th is the date we celebrate christmas in Denmark... I dont even know why it's different, but it is. At around 12ish(PM) we went to Jutland which is the bigger part of Denmark 

anyhow, we went there and had a lot of food, duck cause that's one of the things we eat chrismas eve and then this thing called "ris a la mande" for dessert, which is cold rice pudding mixed with whipped cream and vanilla and then you put almonds in it... chopped almonds and one whole almond and the person who gets the whole almond gets a gift and thats kind of a danish tradition. Usually we in denmark "dance around the christmas tree" which is actually just walking around the tree singing christmas carols, but not everyone actually wanted to walk around it this year so we just sat down singing and my dads father read from the bible and then we handed out presents;

we made it and the guys were tired

as a tradition we watch "Disneys christmas show" its on every year

aaaaand, then my phone was so nice to remind me that it was christmas

 then christmas day(25th) we had a lot of leftovers, we got home at night the 24th and my mom and dad made like tons of food the 23rd and 22nd so they wouldnt have to cook the days after christmas and in Denmark "christmas lunch" is a big thing and its like gatherings where you eat tons of food for lunch and if it has to be "after the book" you eat fish, then meat and then a hot meal and sometimes there's dessert we had our own little lunch the 25th in pjs and Karina came over, we watched movies all day and just ate. 

we didnt do it exactly after the book that day, but it was still good 

 

my uncle went to Charlotte not long ago and brought me this and im obsessed its not good

I imported my new cds! yay

 

i dont actually remember what days this was, but I watched west side story til 1am and finally went to bed 

hard candy! this is THE best, not even kidding 

So my mom and dad gave themselves a new iPad to share and uh... there's photobooth on it that we kinda had to try.. if anyone does not know what that is, its a thing on most apple products besides phones and iPods and it's a camera that like messese up your face its fun.. hard to explain though. haha. 

 then the other day... december 29th I think.. not sure.. we went down south to visit my moms family for an actual "Christmas lunch" and wow haven't been that full in a long time.. it was in the right order.. first we had different kinds of fish.. (raw) then we had meat and this greenish thingy that I do not like.. it's a veggie thing.. not good. and then a hot meal.. oh and fruit salad for dessert i died... oh and of course we had coffee and 3 bowls of candy, but then that was it haha.

 2013. That was a year... filled with a lot of things. For me it was kind of a weird year to be honest like so weird, but then again really good. I see all these people posting stuff everywhere like "please let 2014 be a better year" 2014 is not gonna be better if you're begging for it, but if you make it a better year it is going to be a good year. So I decided that 2014 is gonna be an amazing year! Happy new year to everyone! And I hope you all are going to welcome 2014 in the best way possible I know I am, with the best friends in the entire world(Well except for my actual best friend who im only gonna see before midnight) but all of the other good friends I have haha.
